Charlie Paparella Explores Changes to Salisbury’s Water Tower

SALISBURY, Md. – In this week’s edition of Back on the Road with Charlie Paparella, brought to you by Furniture & More Gone Coastal, Charlie examined the ongoing work at Salisbury University’s water tower.

“When something’s been part of your landscape for decades and has been perfectly quiet all those years, and it suddenly puts on a white raincoat and starts roaring, you notice,” Charlie says, admiring the altered landscape.

Charlie says crews are working to sandblast the tower as part of ongoing renovations. He says the crews working on the tower come from all over the world, particularly eastern Europe.

“They are far from home, living among strangers, who will enjoy the results of their work, for decades to come,” Charlie reflects.
