Dover PD Arrest Man Connected to Four Burglaries
DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department (DPD) Patrol Division has arrested a suspect connected to four commercial burglaries that occurred over a two day period.
On Monday afternoon, police arrested 41-year-old Lamar Trower of Dover after conducting a traffic stop on his vehicle. He is charged with three counts of third degree burglary, two counts of theft greater than $1,500, and related charges. Trower was later released on a $3,000 unsecured bond.
Between Mar. 21 and Mar. 22, DPD officers responded to burglaries at the following locations:
- Pizza Time (1255 South State Street), Mar. 21 at 4:15 a.m.
- Lana Nails (155 North DuPont Highway), Mar. 22 at 1:22 a.m.
- Restaurante El Gallito (1030 South Little Creek Road), Mar. 22 at 1:45 a.m.
- Off The Top Barber (1032 South Little Creek Road), Mar. 22 at 1:45 a.m.
The investigation into these incidents indicated a silver Nissan Altima with Delaware temporary tags was a suspect vehicle. Patrol officers located the suspect vehicle in the area of Walker Road and North State Street and proceeded to conduct the traffic stop that led to Trower’s arrest. He was taken into custody without incident.
