Cars Collide at Millsboro Harris Teeter
MILLSBORO, Del. – The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company responded to a two-vehicle crash near the Millsboro Harris Teeter on Friday afternoon.
At 12:50 p.m. on Mar. 20, crews were alerted to a vehicle collision on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Concord Pet. Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad and Delaware State Fire Police.
Crews worked to stabilize patients and vehicles, recover crash debris and fluid, control traffic, and mitigate the incident. A fuel leak from one of the vehicles occurred on scene.
Crews believe a grey Chevrolet Aveo and a tan Chevrolet Impala collided at the entrance to Harris Teeter, causing damage to both vehicles. The Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
