Saltwater Cowboy, Chincoteague Fire Co. honorary member Edward Lewis passes away

CHINCOTEAGUE, Va. – Longtime Saltwater Cowboy and Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company honorary member Edward Lewis has passed away.
The fire department writes Edward was a rain or shine cowboy and never missed the chance to come down for a roundup.
He’s described as being, “tough, dedicated and humble,” and the fire company is thankful for Edward’s constant dedication and being a selfless volunteer for so long.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the community of Chincoteague.
