Weather Tidbits: If We Did Not Change For Clocks Standard & DST
We’ll be discussing sunset and sunrise times if we didn’t change the clocks for standard time and daylight saving time. There is debate and controversy over Daylight Saving Time, and whether or not we should be changing our clocks in the first place. The same conversation seems happens every year. But what if we did not change the clock, and we only kept with one of these? Well, if we just kept with Standard Time all year, we would have a very early sunrise at 4:40 AM in June, and an earlier 7:30 PM sunset instead of 8:30 PM. On the other hand, if we kept with Daylight Saving Time all year, our sunrise in December would be late at 8:20 AM, but we would have that extra hour of evening daylight with a 5:40 PM sunset instead of 4:40 PM.
