Temporary Road Closures Implemented for TidalHealth Construction

SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury Department of Infrastructure and Development has begun construction for TidalHealth Salisbury Observation Unit expansion at 100 Carroll Street. 

Work began at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Mar. 16. This construction marks the first phase of the larger plan for expansion, and is expected to conclude by Apr. 4 barring any unforeseen circumstances.

The construction of Phase 1 will have the following impacts on local routes:

  • Lane Closures at Patterson Road and West Vine Street (17 days)
  • Road Closure at West Vine Street (17 Days)
  • Sidewalk Closure at West Vine Street (17 days)

The work will require lane closures in both directions, as well as a full road closure within the project area. Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes during this time.
