Charlie Paparella Introduces his Furry Friends

SALISBURY, Md. – In this week’s edition of Back on the Road with Charlie Paparella, brought to you by Furniture & More Gone Coastal, Charlie introduces us to some of his favorite furry friends.

“Watched a little squirrel the other day, while he was standing under a massive tree, eating lunch.
It’s amazing how they forage for food while constantly keeping an eye out for danger, always returning to what little protection they have, to eat… not unlike ourselves.
We rush around all day , working, trying to find ways to feed ourselves avoiding the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Returning home in the evening, to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
A squirrel’s life is a tricky business.
They’re a favorite supper for all manner of critters, hawks and owls, weasels, snakes and raccoons to mention a few.
And our automobiles are responsible for more fatalities than any predator.
Fortunately, we alleviate the danger by running wires across our neighborhood streets, giving them a safe crossing.
Guess you’d call that a case of inadvertent compensation, watching a squirrel eat lunch.”
