Cambridge outlasts Pocomoke to advance to State Quarterfinals

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Cambridge-South Dorchester boy’s basketball outlasted Pocomoke 77-73 Wednesday night in Cambridge to claim the 1A East Region Title and advance to the MPSSAA State Quarterfinals.

Jamir Roberts (19 points) and Michael Ames (16 points) led the way for Pocomoke offensively, while 20 points from Sterling Perkins and 18 from TJ helped the Vikings hold on for the win as they continue their quest for back-to-back state titles.

Cambridge will host Brunswick in the MPSSAA State Quarterfinals later this week.
