Mid-Shore Behavioral Health to Host Workforce Program

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – Mid Shore Behavioral Health is partnering with several counties on the Mid-Shore to help bring people back in to the work force.

It’s a 10 part program geared to help people who have experienced homelessness, living with a disability, or are trying to rebuild their lives.

The program is the first of its kind for mid-shore behavioral health , and they say more than a dozen people have signed up.

Their goal give people the extra support they need to enter the workforce.

“So there are jobs out here, and, we can help these people get back on their feet again. It’s going to be a process, but we want to see these people off the streets and get their sense of pride back,” says Jimmy Morris Jr. of Mid-Shore Behavioral Health.

Mid-Shore Behavioral Health plans to run this program in surrounding counties as well.
