DJ Wax Named OC’s 2026 Citizen of the Year

Robert Chandler, better known as “DJ Wax”, is Ocean City’s 2026 Citizen of the Year.
Chandler has spent decades putting smiles on faces at events across the community. Leaders say his impact goes beyond the music.
After the heartbreaking loss of his son he turned his grief into purpose and became an advocate for cancer awareness, donating countless hours to community events.
