Crews respond to house fire in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The Cambridge Rescue Fire Company responding to a reported structure fire.

It happened just before 7 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Willis Street.

When crews arrived on scene, they found nothing evident from the exterior of the three-story residence.

Shortly after, crews entered the structure and found hazy smoke conditions.

After further investigation, crews discovered a small fire within a rear wall of the home.

Thankfully, the fire was found early and contained before it could extend further into the structure.
