Dorchester Co. Sheriff’s Office to Receive New Cruisers

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – Some updates coming to the Dorchester County’s Sheriff’s Office.

The County Council is in agreement with the Sheriff’s Office on new cruisers, potentially replacing the entire fleet.

Council members met with Sheriff James Phillips Monday to discuss upgrades.

“Reviews of the fleet and the details are still ongoing. But we’re willing to do what it takes to make sure our law enforcement has what they need to have to do their job,” says Council Member, Mike Detmer.

At this time, the county does not have a confirmed number of cruisers that would be purchased for the sheriff’s office.
