Indian River falls to Sallies In PK’s

The Sallies defeated Indian River 3-2 this afternoon with an overtime PK goal from Jason Blackwell.

Cole Bouchard got the scoring started for Salesianum in the first half to give his team the 1-0 lead. Indian River got on the board shrotly after on an Edgardo Velasquez goal. The game was knotted up 1-1 at the half.

The Indians took the lead with a Johan de jesus Cordoba goal off of a free kick. Sallies tied it up once again when Gavin Ford scored, sending the match into overtime.

Casey Kurlej drew a foul for Sallies, which led to the PK opportunity in which Blackwell netted the game winner.
