PRMC placed among elite hospitals in the nation

SALISBURY, Md. – For the third straight year, PRMC has been placed among the elite hospitals in the nation.

On Tuesday, Healthgrades, a national organization, came to the hospital to present them with the America’s 250 Best Hospitals award.

PRMC is just one of 10 hospitals in Maryland to get that honor.

We are told Healthgrades bases its award on analysis of more than 45 million medical claims records.

“Whether they’re sick and we help them get better or we bring a new life into the world in our community or we help comfort those at the end of their life, that’s what really is important for us and we try to do it the best we can every patient, every time,” said Charles Silvia, Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer at PRMC.
