DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department has arrested a school bus driver for patronizing a prostitute.

The charges stem from bus video footage on Jan. 6 that was being reviewed during the investigation of a separate incident. An employee discovered footage depicting Rohm picking up a female in the area of Governors Avenue at Loockerman Street, before proceeding to Jerusalem Way. Once parked in the area of Jerusalem Way, Rohm was shown engaging in sex acts with the female and exchanging money afterwards.

Rohm is not employed by a school district and was employed by a contracted bus service.

The Ceasar Rodney School district issued a statement following the arrest, saying the following:

“We are aware of an incident involving a contracted bus driver who was arrested by the Dover Police Department on a personal matter. We want to clarify that this incident was entirely unrelated to school duties. At no time were any students involved or placed in danger. The individual is no longer associated with the contractor.”
