DE Nat. Resources Police Make Two Felony Arrests in Sussex Co.

SUSSEX COUNTY, Md. – The Delaware Natural Resources Police (NRP) have made multiple arrests in Sussex County during the January General Deer Firearms Season.

The department says they arrested a Milton man after executing a search warrant related to an illegal deer hunting investigation. He was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited and one count of unlawful possession of a game animal. During the search, authorities located an unspecified amount of heroin. The man was also charged with manufacturing/delivering/possessing with intent to distribute a tier 2 controlled substance.

Delaware NRP also arrested an Ellendale man on two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited and failure to wear hunter orange.
