A decade of mentorship at Big Brothers. Big Sisters.

SALISBURY, Md. — Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore is celebrating a legacy of mentoring services.
While the organization has been fighting adversity for 40 years, the Salisbury location is marking 10 years of hard work. They are hosting an event with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce on January 8 from 5 to 7 p.m., bringing together business leaders and partners for a night of celebration.
Alison Wright, nonprofit coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Eastern Shore, said, “We really see the impact on our kids every single day. They show improvements in decision-making and self-confidence. They have a much-improved sense of their future. We see their growth by doing our jobs every day, and that’s what we’re celebrating: ten years of watching the children here on the Eastern Shore grow along with us.”
The organization said that as the new year approaches, it is always looking for more mentors.
