North Caroline Stuns Kent Island with 14-7 win

The North Caroline Bulldogs beat the Kent Island Buccaneers 14-7 tonight in the MD 2A football regional semifinal, to move to 9-2 on the season. Kent Island dropped its final two games of the season to finish at 9-2.

The road team relied on its running game in this one. The Bulldogs got on the board first with a David Bailey Jr touchdown run. KI’s Jordan Marciano found Dylan Finley for a pass to the one yard line. Austin Ryan scored Kent Island’s lone touchdown on a one-yard run in the second quarter. A Bulldogs touchdown run by Tay Potts capped off the scoring in the first half. Neither team could put points up in the second half.

North Caroline will move on to the 2A regional final game next week.
