Cambridge Rotary Club Brings Gifts to Boys & Girls Club
(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – The Cambridge Rotary Club helped bring Christmas a little early to local kids.
The club delivered nearly 80 presents to the Boys and Girls Club at Leonard’s Lane Monday afternoon.
The Boys and Girls Club of Metro Baltimore oversees the Cambridge branch, which was chosen by the Rotary Club and their Adopt-A-Club Initiative.
The facility manager of the Boys and Girls club in says it’s about making a difference for kids at the club.
“It means a lot. It means a lot for the Rotary Club to adopt our club and to give gifts to these kids. Some of them don’t even have to have a chance to really have a great Christmas. Some of them do. And this was a great gesture for them,” says Facility Manager, Gabriel Butler.
Each child at the Boys and Girls Club made a wish list, and each member of the Rotary Club helped to make it a reality.
