Milton Home Shot while Family Inside; DSP Investigating

MILTON, Del. – The Delaware State Police are investigating a shots-fired event that occurred Sunday morning.

Around 6:00 a.m. on Dec. 21, troopers responded to a residence in the 30000 block of Fisher Road following reports of gunfire. A 39-year-old resident heard what sounded like an object striking his home. When troopers arrived on scene, they observed a bullet hole in the front of the residence, which caused damage inside the home.

At the time of the incident, two adults and two children were inside the residence. No injuries were reported.

This incident remains under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information about this case is asked to contact Detective Z. Spudis at 302-752-3795.
