Man Ejected in Fatal Crash in Delmar

DELMAR, Del. – The Delaware State Police are investigating a rollover crash that killed one on Friday evening.

At 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 19, a Toyota Tundra was traveling on Bacons Road, west of Bi State Boulevard. As the vehicle approached a left-hand curve, it exited the north edge of the roadway, struck a utility pole, and overturned multiple times.

The driver, identified as 24-year-old Tyler Wright of Delmar, Delaware, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into this crash is ongoing. Troopers ask anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Master Corporal R. Albert at (302) 703- 3266.
