Burglary Investigation leads to Arrest of Milford Man
MILFORD, Del. – The Milford Police Department arrested a man for second degree burglary and related charges on Monday evening.
On Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 11000 block of Farmerfield Street in the Simpson’s Crossing Development for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival on the scene, police located 39-year-old Rousevel Delva inside of the home.
Officers learned that Delva did not live at the residence, and had forced his way inside after another occupant entered. Delva damaged property inside of the residence, prior to being apprehended by officers without incident.
Delva faces additional charges, including two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of offensive touching, and one count of criminal mischief under one thousand dollars. He was committed to the Department of Correction in lieu of $12,200 secured bond. He is also instructed to have no contact with the victims in this case.
