Crawlspace Fire Damages Home in Seaford
SEAFORD, Del. – The Seaford Volunteer Fire Department and other mutual aid companies responded to a residential fire on Tuesday night.
At 9:40 p.m. on Dec. 16, crews responded to a visible house fire on Thompson Parkway in the Lakeshore Development. Firefighters battled the blaze for two and a half hours. The fire was reportedly well developed from floor vents coming from crawlspace of the home.
No injuries were reported in this incident. The home’s occupants are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
This fire is under investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office.
