Snow Hill transforms into “Who-Hill” for family-friendly holiday celebration

Snow Hill, Md. — Snow Hill is embracing its inner Whoville this weekend as the town transforms into “Who-Hill” for a full day of holiday-themed festivities.

The celebration begins Saturday morning with Breakfast with the Grinch at the Snow Hill Fire Company, running from 8 to 11 a.m. Families can enjoy a meal, snap photos with the Grinch, and pick up their official Grinch Passport — a guide to activities and local business stops throughout the day.

Downtown Snow Hill will then come alive with train rides, face painting, games along Green Street, and the lively Who-bilation Band Parade. Visitors can collect stamps from participating businesses to earn treats and enter giveaways. Throughout the day, organizers say there will be plenty of chances for photos, character meet-and-greets, and holiday fun.

“I do believe the Grinch will be there — yes sir, yes he will,” said organizer Kerrie Bunting. “We’re going to have so much fun on Green Street, lots of games, a Who-valuation, a band, and even a tree planting with the Lorax.”

The celebration also will have a ceremonial tree planting, marking the community’s commitment to sustainability and holiday spirit.

All events are free or low-cost. A full schedule, participating businesses, and location details can be found on the Downtown Snow Hill Facebook page.
