Christian Shelter in need of donations
SALISBURY, Md. – The Christian Shelter is calling on the community for donations. With the cold weather, the shelter has seen an influx in people coming through its doors, seeking shelter out of the elements.
Executive director, Anthony Dickerson said they are in desperate need of cases of water, toilet paper and other toiletries, and he welcomes all businesses and folks in the community to donate during this season of giving.
“Our shelter is starting to full up. We just brought two families in, so we’re getting inundated by a lot of families, and we’re getting a lot of calls for the shelter, so I guess it’s the holiday season, it’s getting cold outside,” Dickerson said.
You can drop your donations off at the shelter, or request pick up by calling 443-366-5929.
