Vehicle Fire Temporarily Shuts Down Route 113 in Snow Hill
SNOW HILL, Md. – A vehicle fire temporarily halted traffic on Route 113 at Timmons Road on Wednesday morning.
The vehicle was driving northbound, when investigators say it lost traction, and went onto the shoulder. The vehicle went over the ditch before returning to the street.
The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office alerted community members to the fire on social media around 10:45 a.m. Traffic was initially detoured to East Market Street.
As of 12:31 p.m., all lanes of Route 113 have reopened.
A cause of the fire has not been announced at this time.
