Monticello Avenue Temporarily Closed for Construction

SALISBURY, Md. – Monticello Avenue will be closed to through traffic from South Salisbury Boulevard to Register Street beginning Monday, Dec. 8, through Wednesday, Dec. 10.

A private contractor working on behalf of Chick-fil-A on South Salisbury Boulevard is installing stormwater maintenance capabilities on Monticello Avenue, prompting a temporary road closure. The closure may be extended depending on project progress. 

The work zone will remain closed until the project is complete. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes and follow posted detour signs.
