Burglary at Brookdale Assisted Living in Dover

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at Brookdale Assisted Living overnight on Wednesday.

Police responded to a residence being renovated at the facility on the morning of Nov. 26 following the report of a burglary. Upon arrival on the scene, officers made contact with the reporting victim. A preliminary investigation revealed that sometime overnight Wednesday into Thursday, an unknown suspect broke in by forcing entry through a window. Once inside, the suspect removed property belonging to the victim and left.

Police have no additional leads at this time.
