Cambridge Rescue Fire Company awarded funds for new fire engine
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Representative Andy Harris visited Cambridge Friday afternoon and brought with him some good news for the Rescue Fire Company (RFC).
Representative Harris awarded $750,000 in federal funding to the Cambridge RFC to secure a new fire engine for the community.
The cost of the recently ordered engine is $1.4 million and is expected to take 45 to 48 months to build and deliver.
The funding supplied helps RFC keep all four of its engine companies operational and ready to save lives.
