Groove City Set for 6th Annual Thanksgiving Giveaway

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – One Cambridge business is getting set to give out plenty of food this weekend.

Groove City is hosting their 6th annual Thanksgiving Turkey and food giveaway Saturday, November 22nd.

Owner, Issac Adams says he’s planning to give out more than 400 meals and 100 turkeys to those in need.

He calls it his favorite tradition of the year, because it helps those who are in the same place he was in at one time.

Issac tells WMDT, “Saturday, is really like my Thanksgiving, you know what I’m saying? Because, you know, it’s just like I was in the same position it was at times. I’m from the same city, the same blocks. So they support me in my business and it’s the only way that I support them.”

Issac says they’ll start serving food at 3 Saturday afternoon at 441 Race Street in Cambridge. It’s first come, first served.
