TidalHealth Introduces Get Well Delmarva Website

DELMARVA – In this week’s Health Beat, brought to you by Tidal Health, WMDT spoke with marketing coordinator Vanessa Junkin about the Get Well Delmarva website.

The Get Well Delmarva website is a platform run by TidalHealth that posts health news, related articles, and resources for the public to learn about.

“Stay in the know about local health news and how it might impact you here on Delmarva,” says Junkin. “We have various practitioners that write articles for Get Well Delmarva. Some of them do it on a regular basis and others, are here and there. And we also have practitioners that are sources in our articles. A lot of the articles also have an expert on the side of the article, where you can click directly to make an appointment with them.”

The website is also home to a weekly podcast entitled Doctor Taboo. The show tackles topics that people might be scared to talk about at the doctor or feel a little uncomfortable about.

“We have a real doctor, doctor Chris Snyder, who is Doctor Taboo and answers these different questions and talks about various topics,” Junkin explains. “And, the host that works on the podcast with Dr. Snyder is Tony Weeg. So the two of them work together and tackle these health issues so that they’re more accessible.”

Get Well Delmarva has an e-newsletter that is sent out about once a month. The newsletter highlights some of the different articles that are on the site and any special promos TidalHealth is doing.
