Driver Flees from Two-Vehicle Crash in Millsboro

MILLSBORO, Del. – The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company responded to a two-vehicle crash in the early hours of Saturday morning.

At approximately 1:57 a.m. on Nov. 1, crews responded to car accidents on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Rust Store.

A preliminary evaluation of the accident revealed that a Toyota RAV4 and a Volkswagen sedan collided on John J. Williams Highway, causing both vehicles to veer off the roadway and into the wooden area. The operator of the Toyota refused any additional EMS services. The operator of the Volkswagen was not present when first responders arrived.

The Delaware State Fire Police and Mid Sussex Rescue Squad also responded to provide assistance.

The Delaware State Police are investigating this incident.
