One Mission Cambridge in Need of Help
(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – In Cambridge, local group, One Mission Cambridge is asking for help from the community.
In addition to the cuts to SNAP benefits, the organization says they also need volunteers to help out.
Executive Director, Krista Pettit says it’s not just about the food pantry, but helping put people in touch with the proper resources, and they simply need more hands ready to help.
Krista says, “We provide a place for people to come that’s safe. We connect people to resources. We do case management. So we say, what is it that you need? And we try to help connect people to whatever it is they need to better their lives. We’re a vital we’re help providers here in Cambridge and we want to keep doing what we’re doing.”
