Two Arrested after Probation & Parole Search in Millsboro

MILLSBORO, Del. – The Delaware State Police arrested two individuals following a Probation and Parole search on Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 30, the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force was requested by Probation and Parole after they conducted an administrative search at the residence of 34-year-old probationer Amanda Seward of Millsboro. During the search of the residence, located in the 28000 block of Godwin Street, probation officers found drugs, drug paraphernalia, and suspected drug money. Seward and a 40-year-old Brian Truitt were both detained at the residence without incident.

Seward was arrested and taken to Troop 4, where she was charged with multiple drug-related felonies, and released on a $27,800 unsecured bond. She was then committed to Sussex Correctional Institution for probation violations.

Truitt was also arrested and taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the same crimes, and released on a $28,800 unsecured bond.
