Car Totaled in Two-Vehicle Accident in Millsboro
MILLSBORO, Del. – The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident that left one car totaled on Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 4:29 p.m. on Oct. 29, crews were alerted to a rear-end collision on John J. Williams Highway near Indian Summer Village. The Delaware State Fire Police and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad also responded to the scene.
An initial evaluation of the accident determined that a Mercury Mountaineer was struck in the rear by a Toyota RAV4, subsequently totaling the Toyota.
Emergency response teams provided patient stabilization, vehicle stabilization, fluid and debris recovery, traffic control, and incident mitigation on the scene.
The Delaware State Police are currently investigating this incident.
