Dover man arrested for burglary at apartment complex
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police say they arrested a man on burglary charges Sunday afternoon.
We’re told that while working an extra duty assignment, an officer patrolling the Loockerman Square Apartment complex saw a door propped open that had previously been secured. Music was heard coming from the unoccupied business suite, and while waiting for backup officers to arrive, the officer on patrol saw a rear window get broken.
When officers entered the suite, they located 22-year-old Wesley Batson, and took him into custody. Batson was charged with third degree burglary and criminal mischief, and was held at SCI on a $2,100 secured bond.
