SAAC Business Awards

SALISBURY, Md. — The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce hosted one of its largest events earlier today: the Annual Awards Luncheon.

Businesses and nonprofits gathered to celebrate each other, with about 200 attendees from across the Eastern Shore, not just Salisbury.

The event began with lunch before 15 different awards were announced.

Bill Chambers, president and CEO of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, said, “To have over 200 people attend this event today is a testament to how strong the business community is, not only in Wicomico County but on the entire lower shore. We’re recognizing businesses and organizations that represent the region, not just Salisbury or Wicomico County.”

The event took place at the Civic Center.
