Indian River continues unbeaten season with comfortable win over Woodbridge

DAGSBORO, Del. – Indian River beat Woodbridge 35-8 on Friday night in Dagsboro.

After both teams exchanged possessions on early fumbles, IR opened things up with a touchdown from quarterback Dylan Grise to Michael Peranteau, followed by a rushing touchdown from Davon Handy to make it 14-0.

Indian River didn’t look back from there, pulling away to cement their victory and move to 7-0 on the season. Their next game is Saturday, October 25 at Sussex Tech at 11 a.m.

With the loss, Woodbridge falls to 1-6. Their next game is at Delmar on Friday, October 24 at 7 p.m.
