Delaware State Police say a Middletown man is dead after the truck he was traveling in went off the road overturned in Townsend.
Police announced in a statement Sunday that a Dodge Dakota was traveling westbound on Blackbird Landing Road on Saturday evening when it drifted off the road for unknown reasons. The truck hit a drainage culvert and two trees before overturning.
Police say 20-year-old Logan Banks, a passenger in the truck was pronounced dead on the scene. They say the driver, 22-year-old Tanner Calder, was flown to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries.
