Milford convenience store robbery under investigation

MILFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a convenience store robbery that happened in Milford Tuesday evening.

We’re told that at around 8:30 p.m., troopers were called to the Shore Stop on Bay Road in Milford for a reported robbery. A male employee told police that a subject approached him with their hand in the pocket of their sweatshirt and asked for “everything” he had. The suspect stole an unknown amount of cash before fleeing the area on foot.

Police say no weapon was displayed and no direct threat was ever made by the suspect. The employee was not injured.
