Indian River stays unbeaten with road victory over Laurel
LAUREL, Del. – Indian River beat Laurel 42-14 on Friday night in Laurel.
IR outpaced the Bulldogs in the first half, scoring late in the second quarter to open up a 29-14 lead.
The third quarter began with an Indian River drive that culminated in a touchdown from running back Davon Handy. IR kept Laurel out of the end zone for the entire second half.’
Indian River moves to 6-0 with the win. Their next game is at home against Woodbridge on Friday, October 17, at 6 p.m.
Laurel falls to 4-2 with the loss. The Bulldogs’ next game is on Saturday, October 18, at 12:00 p.m. at home against Archmere.
