Woman arrested in Dover stabbing

Delaware State Police say a 25-year-old woman was taken into custody after allegedly stabbing another woman with a steak knife.
We’re told Nineka Perkins-Hunt, of Dover, was in a verbal altercation with two women, ages 22 and 24. It reportedly happened Saturday, just before 6 p.m., in the Alder Park Apartments parking lot on Webbs Lane.
Perkins-Hunt allegedly stabbed the 24-year-old woman in the upper torso, before puncturing a hole in the tire of the 22-year-old woman’s car.
DSP tells us that Perkins-Hunt then fled to her apartment where she was arrested.
The 24-year-old victim was taken to Kent General where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Perkins-Hunt faces 2nd Degree Assault, Possession of a Deadly Weapon during the Commission of a Felony and Criminal Mischief charges. She was committed to Baylor Correctional on over $25,000 bond.
