Indian River Vol. Fire Co. Puts Out Shrubbery Fire in Millsboro
MILLSBORO, Del. – The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company responded to the Baywood development for a shrubbery fire on Wednesday morning.
At approximately 6:52 a.m. on Oct. 8, crews were alerted to an outdoor fire incident on Back Nine Way, off of John J. Williams Highway. It was reported to be shrubbery on fire in a flower bed. The fire was successfully extinguished with a pressurized water can.
A preliminary investigation by crews found that “a utility type enclosure” was involved in a fire. The enclosure is believed to be associated with possible telephone wiring, which may impact the services in the area.
