Va. District 2 republican primary polls open

Polls will be open Tuesday for a republican primary to determine the party’s candidate for the 2nd District in the U.S. House of Representatives. This includes Accomack and Northampton counties.

Republican candidates in the running for District 2, currently held Representative Scott Rigell, include Scott Taylor, Randy Forbes, and Pat Cardwell.

Representative Rigell is not running for another term in office.

The winner of Tuesday’s primary will face Shaun Brown in the general election on November 8.

Tuesday’s polls are open on election day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
