Annual Light The Night event coming back to Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – The annual Light The Night event is coming back to Salisbury.

The Wicomico and Worcester County Health Departments are hosting the event for the second year, bringing people together to remember loved ones lost to suicide,
and to raise funds for the Jesse Klump Memorial Fund.

There will be a candlelight vigil and resources on hand. Kim Klump said it’s a safe space to get support and, a great chance to start meaningful conversations about mental health and suicide prevention.

“Think about one another more, notice things about one another more, be kind, and try to make sure you understand if somebody is struggling, that you should try to help them connect to resources,” said Klump.

The event will kick off on October 18th at 5:30pm at Winterplace Park. For more information and to donate, you can call Klump at 410-543-6981.
