Dover Police Investigating Early Morning Burglaries on Greentree Drive
DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department (DPD) is investigating two separate burglaries that took place early Sunday morning on Greentree Drive.
At approximately 6:20 a.m. on Oct. 5, police responded to Pizza Delight for the report of an alarm. A preliminary investigation by officers found that a suspect pried the back door open and entered the business. Once inside, the suspect removed money and left.
Later the same day, at 6:47 p.m., police responded to Lee Nails following a report from the business of a burglary. A preliminary investigation found that a suspect forced entry into the business between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Once inside, the suspect removed money and left.
Police have no leads in connection to either of these cases at this time.
