MSP Investigating Queenstown Motorcycle Crash

QUEENSTOWN, Md. – Maryland State Police (MSP) are investigating a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle that occurred Monday.

At approximately 4:59 p.m. on Sept. 29, troopers responded to U.S. Route 50 at Arrington Road for a report of a crash. According to a preliminary investigation, a Lexus SUV was attempting to make a left turn from westbound Route 50 when, for unknown reasons, was struck by a Kawasaki motorcycle traveling east.

The driver of the motorcycle, identified as 23-year-old Jesse Paul of Centreville, was flown to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for treatment of his injuries. A passenger in a Lexus, identified as 72-year-old Donald Gibson of Queenstown, was transported by ambulance to the University of Maryland Shore Emergency Center for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the Lexus was uninjured.

The MSP Crash Team is leading the active and ongoing investigation into this accident.
