Salisbury Zoo to Close for Improvements

Salisbury Zoo

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Zoo will be closed for several days in October while crews make improvements on park grounds.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 13, through Wednesday, Oct. 15, the Zoo will be temporarily closed to all guests while crews complete a major resurfacing of all pathways.

The City of Salisbury says that this project will improve visitor safety and enhance accessibility for all guests, including those with strollers, wheelchairs, or mobility needs.

The Zoo is scheduled to reopen for normal hours on Thursday, Oct. 16, weather permitting there are no delays.
