SU Swimming Getting Ready For Season

New Transfers

SALISBURY, Md. – Swimming Coach Nate Parsley has built the Salisbury University mens and womens swimming program into a winner. The men’s and women’s teams enter the new season as defending conference champions. The team has already started practicing to get ready for the new year.

“The combination of underclassmen that have the experience along with the freshman and the new blood that will help catapult us to the next level,”said Coach Parsley.

Coach Parsley has some additional talent to add to his roster this year. They have two new transfers with Rhode Island Transfer Addi Wood and Ithaca’s Michael Paulos. Paulos talked about deciding to join the SU Swimming team.

Their ability to get better every year in the past five years because of their ability to recruit and the new freshmen and transfers have been amazing and their are one of best D 3 teams in swimming,”said Paulos.

Coach Parsley ‘s teams have been getting better each year. The women’s team with Addi Woods have high expectations. Coach Parsley Women’s team goal as repeat conference champions and to continue sending our top women to NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championship in Indianapolis next March. For the men, they are hopeful to jump a spot in our conference meet to finish top 2 and send the first men to compete at nationals since 1998.

The SU Women’s and Men’s first swimming and will make a splash for their meet on October 18th when they face Marymount at Maggs Gym.
