TidalHealth to Host Free Flu Clinics Across the Shore
SALISBURY, Md. – TidalHealth will be hosting free flu clinics across Delmarva this fall, with the first coming to Salisbury on Friday.
TidalHealth has hosted annual flu clinics since 1994, giving out trivalent flu vaccines to the community. These clinics are free of charge and open to anyone age eight and up. Individuals under age 18 must bring a parent or legal guardian to sign consent.
The first flu clinic will take place on Friday, Sept. 26 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This particular clinic is a drive-thru event, and individuals will not have to exit their vehicle in order to receive their shot. Participants are asked to wear a short-sleeved shirt that will provide easy access to the upper arm.
TidalHealth will not be offering high dose flu shots for seniors a these clinics.
Several other clinics will be held across Somerset, Sussex, and Wicomico counties. A second drive-thru flu clinic will be held at TidalHealth McCready Pavilion on Oct. 4. To view all upcoming flu clinics, click here.
